Hi, I'm Laura, the owner and certified saddle fitter behind KindFit for Horses. My mission is simple: to help every horse move comfortably, correctly, and without pain. I believe that a proper saddle fit isn't just about equipment - it's about honoring the partnership between horse and rider.
With a lifelong passion for horses, I bring experience from multiple disciplines, including hunter/jumpers, dressage, and western riding. This diverse background allows me to understand the unique needs of different horses, riders, and saddle types, and to recognize subtle changes in comfort, movement, and performance.
I completed the English Saddle Fitting course at the Saddle Fit Academy, where I received hands-on training in equine biomechanics, saddle balance, through flocking and padding adjustments, and saddle repairs, including strip flocking and billet replacements. This education, combined with years of practical experience, guides my detail focused approach for every appointment.
I provide thorough, hands-on saddle evaluations for every horse and rider, whether I'm visiting a quiet backyard barn or a bustling competition stable. Every client receives the same level of attention, detail, and care. I take the time to listen explain my findings, and ensure you feel confident in every adjustment and recommendation.
At KindFit for Horses, kindness is the foundation: kindness in handling, kindness in communication, and kindness in creating a pain-free riding experience. Because a comfortable horse is a happier, healthier, more willing partner - and every stride should feel good!
